At Imagination Farms in Davie, a family found a full honey bee colony crawling on their outdoor TV screen — another un-BEE-lievable South Florida hive spot.
I am Nick. We cleared the colony live, relocated the bees to our apiary, and left the screen usable again — no spray-first mess.

At Imagination Farms in Davie, Florida, a family found something you do not expect on movie night: a full honey bee colony crawling on their outdoor TV screen.
Strange hive spots are normal in Broward County. Bees take dark, sheltered edges — screens, soffits, meter boxes, patio gear — and build before anyone notices the flight path. Spraying a screen leaves wax, honey, and a mess that still smells like a hive. That invites the next swarm.
GotBeez treated it as a live bee removal. We cleared the colony carefully, relocated the bees to our apiary, and left the family with a screen they could use again — no kill spray, real relocation.

Yes. Any sheltered surface with a flight path can hold a colony long enough to become a problem — screens, patio furniture voids, and similar fixtures included.
No. Whenever possible we do live relocation and move the colony to our apiary. See live bee removal service and honey bee removal.
